Northwestern painted themselves into a corner with their brutal loss to Iowa last week. It makes their final nine games must-wins, especially considering the trip to Madison is a likely loss; they need every other win to have any shot.
Minnesota has been a troubled program all year. They have never found any consistency and are likely a NIT team. A win today at Northwestern would keep a glimmer of Big Dance hope alive.
