Anyhow, David Huertas laid one on the Big Blue tonight, handing Kentucky their first SEC loss. It doesn't really damage Kentucky's overall profile, as they are looking like a #5 at best, most likely a #6 or #7 seed. It does give Mississippi a huge leg up on that coveted SEC West top spot, which likely comes with the SEC's fourth tourney invite. Just goes to show that if you can lock up Jodie Meeks UK has little else from the perimeter.

In related news DeAndre Liggins hit the backboard with a jumpshot/heave several times tonight. No word if he gets a half-point for that from Billy G.
