Hangover? Gonzaga Drops Shocker to Portland State

"Does anybody know what a hangover is?

Does that mean you're drunk?!?

Noooo... it means I was drunk yesterday."
~ School of Rock

Someone should have slipped the Zags some Chaser after Saturday's gut-wrenching come-from-behind loss to #2 Connecticut. It was obvious the Bulldogs were still feeling a little groggy.

Portland State (the Vikings, not to be confused with Portland (the Pilots, who are a reasonable conference foe) of the Big Sky conference downed the Zags 77-70, making the most of 25 points from Jeremiah Dominguez. The Vikings utilized a small lineup all night to counter the Zags tremendous size and length.

It is not a strategy that usually works, but it did tonight.

Gonzaga has the holidays to regroup before traveling to Utah and Tennessee is two final pre-conference tests.
